SANDOWN RACE 4 #8 ANYTHING BUT – $6.50 – This boy is close to a win and it may come today. His first three runs this prep have all been good so he should be at peak fitness 4th up today. He was held up last start, shifted around heels and found the line hard late. I think he’ll run well today over the mile again and hopefully get over the line, if he doesn’t though and he goes out in distance next start, in the right race I’d probably go harder at him again. PAKENHAM RACE 3 #4 PARIS PIKE – $4.40 – Keen for a look at this colt where nothing went right for him at all last start at Sandown. He was hampered at the jump then had to go back and never found clear running. He also had a laceration and pulled up lame so plenty of excuses that day. Out to 1400m here should suit and keen for a small look.
